Green and low-carbon transformation leads the trend of the times, and China and Africa work together to write a new chapter of green cooperation. From the Sosian geothermal power station in Kenya, to the Noor solar thermal power station in Morocco, to the Keke hydropower station in Angola, green energy projects under the framework of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation have not only increased the power supply of African countries, but also mitigated the impact of climate change worldwide.
So far, China has signed 19 memorandums of understanding on South-South cooperation on climate change with 17 African countries, and the ecological and environmental management departments of seven African countries have joined the "Belt and Road" International Alliance for Green Development. China has implemented the "Green Silk Road Envoy Program" and the "China-Africa Green Innovation Program", and has trained more than 1,500 trainees for African countries, providing technical support in environmental management, pollution prevention, green economy, and climate change.
As China-Africa green cooperation continues to deepen and become more practical, it will surely inject continuous green impetus into the sustainable development and modernization of each country, and China-Africa cooperation will also present a new and more prosperous picture.
