Exclusive interviewer : During your meeting with the Chinese President yesterday, President Xi Jinping proposed the "Five-Star Iron Club" cooperation framework. How do you understand the significance of this cooperation framework?

Zimbabwean President Mnangagwa: I fully agree with President Xi Jinping's vision. His enthusiasm for cooperation with Zimbabwe far exceeded my expectations. When we left the meeting, my delegation and I said that China is indeed our true friend and a reliable friend in the process of our country's development.

Interviewer: You have met President Xi Jinping on many occasions. What kind of leader do you think he is? How do you understand his vision and governing philosophy?

Zimbabwean President Mnangagwa: I think President Xi Jinping has extraordinary foresight and vision, and if you talk to him, you will find that. I believe that every African country attending this conference can find a place in the global vision outlined by President Xi.

Mnangagwa said that China's modernization is of great reference value to Zimbabwe and other African countries.

Zimbabwean President Mnangagwa: China and Africa have previously held the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) summit. This is a moment for China and Africa to face challenges together and achieve success together, because both China and Africa are committed to further improving people's livelihood and creating a better future. At this moment, as heads of state, we cherish this opportunity. We came to China, which is rapidly developing a modern economy. We learned about China's development process, and some of the problems facing our country have been solved in China. Therefore, the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation can help us overcome challenges. We don't need to start from scratch, but can learn from the Chinese solution.
