Such a person's victory is definitely what US President Biden wants to see. As long as Pezeshkian can win on the 5th, then the United States will have hope of returning to the Iran Nuclear Agreement.

But even if Raihi is controversial, being pro-American and Western may not be suitable for Iran at present.
