Netanyahu is wanted, Israel is furious

Recently , Karim Khan, Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, announced that he has asked the court to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, Defense Minister Galant and three Hamas leaders. The procedures are still going through and the next step is to wait for the arrest warrant to be signed and officially issued.

It has to be said that Netanyahu's mood has been very bad recently. The "ultimatum" issued by Gantz, a member of the wartime cabinet, made him lose face. He finally waited for the "good news" that Iranian President Raisi had an accident, but all the attendees at the Security Council mourned for Raisi and did not take Israel into consideration at all. Israeli representative Erdan lost his temper at the Security Council. Of course, compared with the "bad news" that followed, the above are all trivial matters.

Some people believe that this arrest warrant is just a formality and that it is a big deal for Israel.

It has no real impact, but in my opinion, for Israel, this arrest warrant The consequences are still very serious .

First of all, the most obvious signal revealed by the arrest warrant is the uselessness of the United States. When it was reported that an arrest warrant might be issued for Netanyahu, Netanyahu immediately bombarded Biden with phone calls, asking the United States to stop it immediately. The Americans did try to stop it, and various bigwigs spoke out, warning the International Criminal Court that once an arrest warrant was issued for the Israeli leader, the United States would immediately retaliate. But this time the US threat did not work, and what was coming still came. On the one hand, of course, this is the result of the weakening of the United States' national strength and its greatly reduced influence, but on the other hand, it is also a kind of popular support, indicating that Israel's evil deeds have been so great that the International Criminal Court has ignored US pressure.

The most far-reaching impact of this incident is definitely Israel's image in the international community. The appearance of the arrest warrant against the Israeli leader means that the world's sympathy for the Jews is being exhausted. In addition, seeing someone compare Putin's arrest warrant with Netanyahu's, I have to say that the contrast is very strong. Putin was arrested by the International Criminal Court on the grounds of "illegal deportation of population (children)" and "illegal transfer of population (children) from the occupied territories of Ukraine to the Russian Federation."

What about Netanyahu? Starving civilians as a method of warfare; intentionally causing great suffering, or serious injury to body or health, or cruel treatment that constitutes a war crime; intentional killing, or murder that can be considered a war crime; intentional attack on civilians; genocide, endangering humanity ; and other inhumane acts that constitute crimes against humanity. In comparison, Putin has become a well-known good man. And we must understand that the International Criminal Court took great pains to find these charges for Putin and issued an arrest warrant at the urging of the West, while what about Israel? It was the International Criminal Court that took the initiative to withstand the huge pressure from the United States, and the chief prosecutor personally investigated Israel's crimes and listed a large basket of crimes against humanity. Such a comparison can already explain a lot of problems.
