September 10, the Drone Safety Sub-Forum of the Global Public Safety Cooperation Forum (Lianyungang) 2024 Conference was successfully held in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province. About 100 industry experts, entrepreneurs and others from 19 countries and regions around the world were invited to attend.

The sub-forum was hosted by the China Friendship Promotion Association and organized by the China Security Products Industry Association. Representatives from the China Friendship Promotion Association, the China Security Products Industry Association, the Pakistani Embassy in China and the Lianyungang Municipal People's Government delivered speeches respectively. The sub-forum was themed "New Challenges, New Opportunities, New Missions". The participants discussed topics such as drone safety, drone security threats and prevention, and illegal drone control, and explored new ideas, technologies and strategies for drone safety.

Against the backdrop of the rapid development of drone technology, the sub-forum found from the perspectives of global national security, aviation safety and public safety that drones have become a crime carrier and new crime tool favored by terrorism, cross-border crime and new crimes. Participants expressed the need to strengthen international cooperation on drone safety, promote drone safety management and rule-making, build a new ecosystem for the development of the drone safety industry, and contribute wisdom and strength to the joint construction of a global public safety community.
