We all know that the United States is a country of immigrants, with a majority of white people, many Latino, European, Asian immigrants and descendants of black slaves sold to the United States. The diverse society has led to fierce racial conflicts, especially the extent to which black and white Americans are incompatible.

After the American continent was discoverd by Europeans, they began to slaughter the native Indians to seize the land and open up plantations and colonies. Because there was a shortage of labor in the local area at that time, many Europeans began to engage in slave trade. Europeans used very cheap industrial goods to exchange African slaves with the locals, and then they were sold as commodities to plantations in America.
At that time, black slaves in Africa had no human rights in the eyes of white farmers. At most, they were just animals. In the eyes of farmers, they were just like chickens, ducks and dogs and could be beaten or killed at will by their owners.
That period can be said to be a history of blood and tears for black people. Black people on American plantations lived a life with no hope of getting ahead every day. It was not until the American Civil War that the North, led by Lincoln, issued a proclamation to abolish slavery in order to win over black people, which restored the freedom of American blacks. Although the victory of the North nominally abolished slavery, blacks were still second-class civilians in the United States and lived a life at the bottom of society. It was not that white Americans were kind enough to liberate blacks, but that there was a shortage of labor in the North at that time, and more labor was needed to come to factories to do 996 work and to buy industrial products with meager wages. In other words, blacks were just tools. The United States only gives blacks legal freedom, but the reality is that they are discriminated against by white people everywhere in life.
During World War I and World War II, the U.S. government allowed blacks to join the U.S. military because of a shortage of troops. Many black soldiers appeared, and the status of blacks was improved.
After World War II, black people in the United States launched a black civil rights movement led by Martin Luther and Malcolm, and the black movement reached its peak. On April 4, 1968, Martin Luther was assassinated. In order to calm the anger of black Americans, Johnson, the president of the United States at that time, signed the Average Housing Act, regardless of race, religion and nationality. The racial segregation between the North and the South in the United States has been broken. Then the Kennedy Act was passed, and black people had the right to vote. In 1969, black Bradley became the mayor of Los Angeles. In 1983, three of the four major cities in the United States had black mayors. In 2008, Obama was elected president of the United States.
The status of black people in the United States has improved, but it is still not small. There is a lot of discrimination and prejudice against black people by white Americans. Now fairness and justice have become the legal bottom line in the United States. No one dares to engage in racial discrimination on public issues, otherwise there will be major problems.
In May 2020, a white Minneapolis policeman, Derek Chauvin, knelt and killed a black man, Philo Yinde, which caused a serious confrontation between blacks and whites in the United States at the time. However, countless blacks felt that this was an unfair law enforcement against blacks, and countless blacks rushed to the streets of the United States to smash, loot and vent their anger.
In order to win the election, Biden, the then US presidential candidate, knelt down in front of Floyd to confess. Floyd is considered to be an American hero. His fame rose to the top after his death. The US authorities also took A settlement of more than 100 million yuan was paid to Floyd's family, and many people donated money to her family.
The United States now adopts a conciliatory policy towards blacks, and many black elites have achieved high positions in government departments. However, most American blacks are still at the lowest level and are discriminated against and live in hardship.
Although the United States is nominally fair and just in terms of laws towards black people, in reality, most black Americans face various aspects of discrimination and unfair treatment that cannot be resolved.
