The US presidential election is in full swing, and former US President Trump and Vice President Harris will start the final contest. On August 18, Trump released an AI photo, claiming that American singer Taylor Swift supports him.

According to a report by CBS on August 19, Trump posted several AI-generated photos on the social media platform "Truth Social" on August 18, including an AI photo of Taylor Swift with the words "Taylor Swift hopes you vote for Trump" in the photo.

Trump also released AI photos of women wearing "Swift fans support Trump" slogans. One of the photos was also marked with the word "ironic", saying that after Taylor Swift's concert in Vienna was forced to cancel due to safety reasons earlier this month, her supporters turned to support Trump. The creator of the photo said that the photo was marked with the word "ironic" and Trump could understand the "joke".

However, there are two photos in Trump's post that are real. In the photo, a Trump supporter named Jenna Piwowarczyk is wearing a T-shirt with the words "Swift fans support Trump". The two photos were taken at Trump's campaign rally in Wisconsin on June 18. Trump also wrote: "I accept (their support)!"

Taylor Swift has not announced her support for any presidential candidate in this election, but she supported Biden and Harris in the 2020 campaign. Taylor Swift has previously criticized Trump, including his remarks during the "Black Lives Matter" protests after the murder of George Floyd in 2020, the report said.

Meanwhile, Democrats quickly mocked Trump, according to the New York Times. California Congressman Eric Swalwell said in an interview on the 19th that this move would have a counterproductive effect on Trump.

"This genius decided over the weekend to poke Taylor Swift fans in the eye and insinuate that Taylor Swift was endorsing him," Swalwell said. "For the next 78 days, they (Taylor Swift's fans) are going to ruin everything for Trump."
